Love Can Make Or Break You!
I have wrote about love before but this post is going to be a little different. First off, it was inspired by my very best friend Kat whom I love very much. As far as best friends go, she is tops.
Secondly, love is a roller coaster plain and simple. Finally, its a complex feeling. It’s an ability really, but either way it is very complex. There is a lot that goes along with loving someone. Love comes softly and can sneak up on you. If your not ready it can knock you down.
“I know how to love, but I do not know what love is”
This really resonated with me. It made me think about love and falling in love. You can fall in love with someone and I mean really love them. For everything that they are, down to their very being.
And still not know what love is. This may sound confusing. Trust me I feel the same way. I have rattled it around in my brain trying to make sense of it. I think that I finally have it down so I am going to attempt to put it into words for you.
Here is an example that I feel best fits what I am trying to say. Say you have a favorite food. You love this food and order it anywhere that you go if it is on the menu.
Love Happens... So Be Ready!
No need to choose or decide, cause you know that what you want. But unless you really investigate how it is made, it’s origin, and any other information you can find. You will never truly know your favorite food. Only that it tastes amazing on your tongue.
The same goes with feelings. You an feel something without really understanding why it is you feel that way. Why does love make you feel the way it does? Why does it change the way we think and see the one it’s target for?
What is it that creates this feeling? Why is it so strong when love comes softly into our lives? It can hit you hard but it has been their way before you took notice. Why? Why? WHY?
When we are young we are told by at least one person to question everything. The most important thing you can question is love. Cause love can make or break you. It’s power is almost as strong as it’s polar opposite… hate.
Love can change your sight, your thought pattern. the way you dress, talk, and act. And if your not careful, and you haven’t done your research. Love can destroy you. Leave you in pain. Leave you all alone.
Love is the most wonderful awful thing humans can feel. Question it all the time. Challenge it. Because it challenges you from beginning to end. I hope this quote is something that will resonate with you, my readers.
