No Bridezilla, It's Just You & Your Husband After All!
I was just watching Bride Wars and I thought to myself “Here is something I rarely talk about, weddings.” I talk about dating, sex, and serious relationships. But never what those type of things eventually leads up to.
A wedding is one of the biggest mile stones and most important day in a girls life. Its important for the husband to be as well but I am not going to put male sensitivity on blast today. That will be saved for a later date.
Weddings are happy and special. However, the planning of a wedding will drive a bride to utter madness. Her skin turns green, her clothes rip, and her hair falls out. The bridges she has with her friends start to crack and the dream she had for herself start falling apart. I am talking about BRIDEZILLAS! They are crazy, cranky, and in the neighborhood of very bitchy.
Yes their is a lot to deal with and things are very hectic. However, being a bridezilla is not all that faltering. In the end it is all worth it anyway. So why not keep a positive attitude through the whole process.
And the thing is that most bridezillas don’t think of how their attitude affects their husband to be. They don’t want to see you cry and get stressed out. It is a happy time for the two of you. You are starting a life together, a positive life together. Not a negative one.
The funny thing is that it all doesn’t need to be that stressful. Everything is what you make it. If you can keep your head up and just breathe. The bridezilla will never have a chance to get out in the open. Just picture the ending, or should I say the beguining, Think of that special day when all you see as you walk down the isle is him. You say a few words and you kiss. Suddenly, you’re married.
Keep the stress to a minimum and keep the bridezilla at bay. Do yourself, your friends, and your husband a favor with that one. Like I said. Think of the day itself. All that really matters anyway is the two of you. The flowers, the plates, and all they rest of it is just the background for the memory. But it is nothing in comparison the the actual memory itself.
