Alright so we all know that sex sells and it is a great way to get a point across, I mean sex is a great conversation starter, not to mention almost everyone in the world does it something like 200million couple are having sex every minute. So if sex is such a popular thing with regular people then why not use it from a business stand point and target that desire to sell stuff to those regular people. You see ladies and gentlemen “Sex Appel” is the official name for this amazingly effective form of media strategy and most forms of media have adapted this way of selling and marketing very well. Now there are a lot of different types of media out there but I am just gonna touch base on the most important and most used forms that we are most familiar with. So we have…
- Advertising Media- This is more a form of persuasion towards viewers. There is often a product that will be portrayed to you as a ” Must Have” something that will benefit you in many ways. The main goal is t get you to take action on this product.
- Multimedia- This is form of media is usually recorded and played via processing devices such as computers and electronic devices. a great example of this would be a “Multimedia Message” or better known to the 20 somethings as a picture message that can be received on a cell phone.
- News Media- This is a type of media that broadcasts current news to the public using “Mass Media” to get to a wide rage of viewers. It lets you know what going on just as it is happening in the world.
- Print Media- Newspapers, magazines, flayers. Any form of paper and print can be thrown together to be used to get a point across to people in vast amounts of categories.

- Broadcast Media- Using of the internet, television, and television shows to get a point across to mass amounts of people all at once. Many company and businesses use this form of media as most people spends a lot of their days on the internet or watching television.
- Internet Based Media- The World Wide Web has become very popular among millions of people, not a day goes by where people miss checking their e-mail or updating their networking sites. Another form of this media is Web Blogs of daily updates of whats going on and whats popular in the world.
Right now you probably want me to elaborate on this and give you an example, well I would be happy to comply. So i know most men are but a lot of women as well are familiar with miss Kim Kardashian. She has shows on tv that are filled with entertaining drama, she looks good in a bikini, and she has a lot of sex appeal. So with all this going for her it was a genius idea on Carles Jr’s part to put her in their newest commercial. I mean the little star logo is cute with his happy face an all but I mean lets be honest just look at Kim, She is gorgeous. In this comercial she is eating Carls Jr’s newest chicken salad and just putting sexieness all over it, and in the end she gets in the tube. Know i dont know about you but watching her eat that made me want that salad.

So as you can see there are many way to get a point across and with the help of sex appel it can have a much more powerful impacts. Really think about it here people your on the internet constantly and there are pop ups and side advertisements on everything, yes they are annoying at times but somebody eventually is going to click on the and maybe even buy into what the are promoting. The news, common I mean most news reporter are good looking right, oh and magazines men and women are always looking for the new “In” things and ways to up their general look. This is even more likely to happen if there is a little sex appel to draw your eye. See when a company want to get their product sold they are gonna channel what people like and every guy like a hot girl the same as every woman like to look at a hot guy, its just in our DNA. The attractive person used to sell tipically has absoultly nothing to do with the product but it catches you eye either way. Brilliant simply brilliant, I must give props to the media for learning, perfecting, and putting in action this very usful and productive way of selling to us regular people!!!
