Such A Beautiful View!
So for those of you out there who do not know me on a personal basis, my 22nd birthday was on Thursday the 7th of April. In celebration of that, me and my significant other are spending the weekend in Santa Barbara. The weather is beautiful, my other half got a nice skate session in, and I am just happy to be here in general. I most definitely needed some beach time.
The funny thing is that I am doing the same exact thing here, that I do at home. I have yet again found myself at Starbucks doing something web related, and it got me thinking. I can’t help but be on my laptop… ALL THE TIME! I seriously cannot get enough of it, I can take this things anywhere and as long as I have a WiFi connection, I am in business.
Blogging is such an outstanding job, wait… I don’t want to call it that. A job is a mundane, boring, tedious task in which a person performs, and in return they are given the pay check to pay check lifestyle. What I get to do all the time is nothing like that. So to call it a job is not appropriate. Let’s call it my “Profitable Activity” for now. I like the sound of that until I find something better.
I have decided that during my 22nd year of life, I am going to take full advantage of the opportunities that my profitable activity gives me. I am going to take as many trips as I can, find a Starbucks, and write a blog post. I have one of the coolest jobs out there, and I have not yet experienced it in full.
I am writing this in hopes that it will inspire some of you to try what I do. What is your passion? What drives you and interests you? You got the answer? Okay now blog about it, start a blog and just talk, put your voice out there. Once you have the hang of it, find a way to make money with it, that way you can go on trips like me and blog from all kinds of different places.
