Yeah... She Feels Like Shit... Must Be A Hangover!!!

well, well, well I wonder what could have possibly inspired this post… Could it be the fact that my 21st was yesterday.

Well, yes that is exactly what inspired this post as I woke up this morning with the hangover from hell.

Had I read a post much like the one I am writting right now I might have not had a hangover but those sorts of things do not cross your mind once you start drinking.

As soon as those drinks kick in and start to hit you, you really don’t think about to many things except sex and more drinking.

But anyway let’s get back to the subject at hand shall we, hangovers suck  that’s is the painful truth and if you are unfortunate enough to get one well my condolences.

Prevent A Hangover

Water Is Your Best Friend When Your Drink...

Here are a list of things that you can do to prevent yourself from having a hangover in the first place so you don’t have to worry about feeling like shit the next morning…

  • Eat Before Going Out- The best thing that you can do for yourself  is put something in your stomach post drinking.
  • Know Your Limits- Do NOT drink more than your or your body for that matter can handle.
  • Drink Some Milk- Drinking a glass of milk before you drink will coat your stomach and slow down the absorption of alcohol.
  • Stay Hydrated- Drink a glass of water before, during, and after the consumption of alcohol.
  • Light Liquors Over Dark Liquors- Vodka and Gin are a lot easier on the body than a Brandy or Whiskey.

So let’s just say that you didn’t do anything for yourself to prevent a hangover prior or even during the time of your alcoholic drinking.

Here are some tips to cure the inevitable hangover.

  • Sleep & Rest- Your body need to get some rest after a night of drinking so that your system can get back to it’s normal cycles.
  • Replenish Your Body- Your body need water and fruit for hydration and nourishment.
  • Avoid Caffeine- Caffeine is only going to dehydrate you more.
  • Take A Shower- Make sure to alternate between hot and cold water.
  • Get Some Exercise- Get your blood pumping.

There you have it ladies and gents, all the information that your going to need if your want to prevent or cure a hangover.

No one likes to feel like shit after a night of partying but sometimes we just don’t think about the next morning.

Now I can only give you the advice I cannot make you take it.

I am just gonna throw it out there and it is then you choice to catch it or let it fly by.

So happy drinking but remember to take care of yourself before and after a night of alcohol so that your don’t take to much time off your life.

  1. i definitely try to eat some food before drinking along with water throughout the night. Sometimes I even sneak in a water with lemon at the bar. People don't know that you're drinking water and they'll think you're actually drinking vodka sometimes. It works great when out with friends who drink waaayyy more than me and I don't feel like crap the next day!
