My name is Kristi Riley and I am an alcoholic, no I am totally kidding, I am a hard core drug addict.By now I am hope you have realized that I am pulling your chain, I am a coffee shop entrepreneur. If there is a coffee shop, preferably Starbucks, and it has a WiFi connection, I am all over it. That becomes my office for the day, and what an office it is.
Over the last few weeks I have noticed that I have finally fallen into the coffee shop entrepreneur lifestyle. I am one of those awesome people who come to Starbucks, get on the computer, and type like a mad person, blogging about anything and everything that comes to mind. I could not be happier with the lifestyle I have chosen for myself, I mean it is pretty cool what I get to do.
I get the to have the total luxury of coming to Starbucks, networking with people, make new friends, and just type whatever my little heart desires. The coffee shop entrepreneur lifestyle is just tops, you can’t beat it. I do not have a boss to answer to cause I am my own boss, although I do get on my own ass sometimes.
I make my own work hours, I get time off whenever I feel like it, where is the down side in what I do. That was a trick question, there is no down side to being a coffee shop entrepreneur what so ever.
Like take right now for instance, I am writing this very post right here from the comfort of my many local Starbucks, In my own little corner, occasionally chit chatting with friends.What job can you chat with friends whenever you feel like it, while still making money?
Now that is the kind of work week I am talking about, who wouldn’t want to be free to do what the want when they want, all while making money and blogging about things they are passionate about. I cannot think of a better job, a better way to meet new people, and a better way to spend my day.
Well I can, but I have to start raking in the BIG bucks before I can have those kinds of days. But you best believe that even when I am traveling the world, I will still find the time to be a coffee shop entrepreneur, and blog for my readers. The only difference will be that I am in Hawaii or Australia, enjoying one of their many local coffee shops.
I encourage everyone to give this lifestyle a try at least one in their life, being a coffee shop entrepreneur has really opened my eyes to new things. I know that may sound weird, but some of my greatest ideas and blog post have happened while I was in a coffee shop. What do you have to loose, honestly? I mean keep your “Real” job and just give mine a try for a day!
