Being alone with your thoughts is not a bad thing, in fact it should be a more commonly done thing! The sad truth theses days, is that people would rather be with other peoples thoughts. Dealing with their own thoughts is too painful, so they procrastinate.
Procrastinating being alone with your own thoughts, and focusing on other peoples is very counter productive the just general growth in your life.
People these days worry too damn much about what other people think, what they do, and what they say.
WHO CARES what other people say, do, and think… All three of those things are out of your control, so why waste the energy trying to control them. Those are their decisions and experiences, so they have they control. Not you, so get over it.
You have control of your own thoughts, actions, and decisions. So how about you focus on that, being alone with your own thoughts is a good thing. It’s one of the best ways to work on yourself, and move towards being the best YOU you can be!
Thinking about what you say before you say it, can have all sorts of benefits. Prevents saying something you don’t mean, or you sounding ignorant about something.
Thinking before you do something, can prevent regrets, thinking before you make a decision, can affect your future differently. Hopefully for the better. Being alone with your own thoughts is a good thing!
Go for a walk in the park, alone. Take a bike ride through town, alone. Curl up on the couch listening to soft classical music, alone. Being alone with your thoughts can happen anywhere, anytime, each and every day.
Pick something you really like to do, and do it all by yourself. Like a big grown up!
Put your grown up underwear on, and deal with your own thoughts. Really think about all the things in your life. then decide where you’re at in life, and where you wanna be.
In can be the difference between a hard, stressful, and lonely life. And a happy, Relaxed, passionate one. Personally, the second one sounds better to me. I mean obviously RIGHT! So wouldn’t you agree, being alone with your thoughts is a good thing
