Aqua Shi Sushi, Alcohol, Atmosphere… What Could Possibley Be Better!!!

I got the extreme pleasure to visit one of Fresno’s hot spots for dinner and drink today with a very good friend of mine and I must say that I was very impressed.

I am talking about none other that Aqua Shi, wow what a restaurant, it is beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside with a lovely grassy area and stone walls.

This wonderful spot is located at 1144 East Champlain Drive right her in Fresno California and it a a must see if you looking for a new place to get your grub and drink on at.

The sushi is very tasty and the whole staff is very friendly and ready to say “Hello, how may I serve you?”

Let’s break everything down into pieces so that I can really give you the full effect and share with you the experience that i was given today.

Aqua Shi & All It’s Wonder

Now some people may look at Aqua Shi as just another place in Fresno to get drunk  with Americanized sushi to top it all off but that is not what I felt when i walked in the front door.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by 2 of the workers which I found to be very professional as well as personal which are both important in any restaurant however I don’t get the same feeling from others that I have visited.

Took my seat at the bar and since you all know I am fairly new to the 21 & over club so when asked what I want I tend to pause a bit still, which I am sure will wear off eventually.

Oh before I forget allow me to mention the absolute coolest part of the Aqua Shi bar top… it is a fish tank, yeah that’s right I said it a fish tank, there is actually water and fish under the bar top.

So moving on from that awesomeness, I was asked by the bartender what I like in a drink and from the answers I gave him he made me a very yummy Watermelon Jolly Rancher, and I then realized that is exactly what my mouth wanted.

The Sushi

I only had the pleasure to try the spicy tuna roll that was made simple but delicious so to those who say that Aqua Shi has Americanized sushi I say this… “Um we are in America in case you haven’t notice lately!”

Any sushi place you go to in Fresno is going to be Americanized to an extent I mean it is not like we are in Japan here people so we can do without the negative talk about the “Americanized” sushi.

The spicy tuna roll was scrumptious and just enough of a appetizer to have accompany my drink, which I think I already said was yummy but I’ll say it again just so you catch my drift.

The Atmosphere

The overall vibe that I got from the moment I walked into Aqua Shi was a positive one and if  I could read auras I wold defiantly say that the aura of Aqua Shi is a good one, assuming of course that buildings can have aura’s.

The bar is pretty long and there are plenty of seats to take a little sit should you need one what with a full tummy of sushi and alcohol.

The look of Aqua Shi seem to be somewhat of a high class snooty restaurant but I didn’t get that at all really, I mean it could just be me but it seem more like a fun and exciting place to spend a Friday or Saturday night out with your friends or that special someone in your life.

There is great food and great deals on drink depending on the day you decide to mossy on in not to mention the all you can eat sushi deal that goes on everyday from 5pm till 9pm and it is only $18.95 you can’t beat that.

The Curtain Closes

The bottom line here people seems to be that I am giving Aqua Shi 2 thumbs up and I sure hope you get a chance to stop by for a roll or a drink because you will not regret it.

It is a great place to celebrate any occasion should on come up or a chill place to come and hang with friends or maybe even male some new ones.

I know that I will be returning to Aqua Shi FOR SURE because I had a wonderful time that was provided by the great service by the very friendly staff.

You need to make you way into Aqua Shi but bring a friend or two with you so that you can share this experience together and make some memories while your at it.
