Paul... One Alien Sighting I would Welcome With A Cold Beer & A Blunt!
In the new movie Paul, not only do Graeme Willy(Simon Pegg) and Clive Gollings(Nick Frost) have an alien sighting, they go on a full blown adventure with one. The alien in question ,Paul(Voice: Seth Rogen), takes Graeme and Clive on a wild ride. It isn’t just them however, they pick up one more passenger, Ruth Buggs(Kristen Wigg) also joins in on the adventure.
This alien sighting proves to be much more than either of them could have bargemen for, as the adventure proves to be hazardous to their health. Two comic book geeks, an overly religious woman, and an alien set out to get Paul to a safe place, so he can go home. Along the way they have many close calls, life changing experiences, and a lot of fun times and memories.
Graeme and Clive learn things about themselves, that without Paul’s help, they may never have learned. Ruth get a life changing lesson about how the world REALLY came to be, and Paul… Well you will have to see the movie to find out what happens to him. This movie has it all, drama, action, romance, and comedy. It really is a must see…
Before I leave you, I am going to give you my two cents on this movie. I gave you a little teaser of what the movie is about, now I am going to share with you what I thought of it. Personally, I believe in aliens. I find it to be totally arrogant, selfish, and ignorant for humans to think that we are the only inelegant life.
I mean really think about it people, there are so many other planets and galaxies out there. Perhaps we are the only inelegant life in our universe, but even saying that is a long shot.What makes humans so special, that we get our own planet and inelegance? Humans lie, cheat, and steal, we are not all that great.Plus there have been alien sighting reported for YEARS!
Aliens are out there, they may not be as smart or the may be genius, but they are out there. I feel that it was about time that a movie cam out that portrayed aliens as friendly, funny, loving creatures.For this movie to give Paul human like actions, smoking weed, drinking alcohol, dancing, and so on. Really shows that when aliens come to earth, we will have no reason to fear them.
They can teach us how the universe and the human race really came to be, give a better explanation aside from a man on a cloud just snapping his fingers and POOF, there was earth and life. I am not hating on religion, although it may sound that way, but we are not alone. This movie really opened my mind up a bit more, made me want to have an alien sighting and adventure.
What if aliens are our creators, and they are just waiting for the right time to come to earth. I believe that way more that the “POOF!” theory that so many people are fond of. Go see Paul, it really is an eye opener, but it is also a riot. Everything about this movie entertained me, “A+” material for sure. So what are you waiting for, go have an alien sighting!
